According to Reuters citing a judicial source, Nicolas Sarkozy is currently being heard in the premises of the judicial police in Nanterre on suspicion of illegal funding for his 2007 presidential campaign.
This is the first time Nicolas Sarkozy has been heard about this since the opening of a judicial inquiry in April 2013. The detention of the former president could last up to 48 hours.
