Mineral resources are apparently not the only Guinean paradox, the policy has the respondent in the country of Alpha Condé. Since the holding of the communal elections of February 4, 2018, there are more than three months, it is the impasse, power and opposition agree on the dysfunctions recorded but are impeccable to agree on the essentials to install the mayors. Consequence: despite the holding of the elections, the municipalities are led by special delegations.
The other improbability is the resignation of the Youla government, on Thursday, May 17, under the express request of President Condé. Between the announcement of a reshuffle by Alpha Condé and the resignation of the government, it has elapsed more than two months plunging the administration into uncertainty. While speculation dominated the public debate, the Youla government was thanked.
From now on, in charge of running the day-to-day business, the appointment of a new prime minister should not exceed legally the 72 hours. Alas! Habits have hard skin, the Guineans are still waiting to discover their new prime minister, the man “providential”, with a strong character, unlike Youla, who was downright in the face of the ubiquitous Alpha Condé, and whose recent union demands and the incredible violence that followed have contributed to weakening the government and, with the high cost of living and unemployment, to arouse the weariness of the population
In the meantime, the country is idling, because no major decision is made by the government fired.
