As part of this visit, King Mohammed VI will hold official talks with his host and will preside with him the ceremony of signing bilateral conventions between the two countries. In the middle of Ramadan (Muslim fasting), the visit will be marked by official Iftar (breaking fast) in honor of President Buhari and the delegation accompanying him.
In December 2016, during the Moroccan sovereign’s official visit to Nigeria, the two countries agreed on the construction of a trans-Saharan gas pipeline over 4,000 km and a $ 20 billion investment. This structuring project which will cross 12 countries will have to join the European market.
