Allianz Congo Insurance announces the appointment of Joseph EYOK as Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Cédric Viallet.
This appointment is effective from September 4, 2018, subject to validation by the Interafrican Conference of Insurance Markets (CIMA).
A member of the Allianz group since 2014, Joseph Eyok was previously Deputy General Manager of Allianz Cameroun Assurances.
From PwC to Paris to Allianz in Africa.
The new Chief Executive Officer has international experience in the insurance sector. Aged 42, Joseph Eyok began his career in Paris in 2000, in the audit and insurance consulting at PwC. In 2004, he joined the group Pro BTP where he held several positions in the Finance Department.
In 2011, he worked in the Investment Department of Swiss Life France before joining the Allianz group in Paris three years later as Head of Mission at the General Management of Allianz Africa.
From 2014 to 2017, he was Administrative and Financial Director of Allianz Cameroun Assurances. Since March 2017, he was Deputy General Manager of Allianz Cameroun Assurances.
A qualified and certified actuary from the Institute of French Actuaries, the new Director General is a graduate of the Institut de Sciences Financière et Assurances (ISFA) in Lyon and holds a Master 2 in Financial Science from the University of Paris. Lyon 1 Claude Bernard.
