The Senegalese government has issued a call for tenders to divest the Senegal offshore south (SOS) and deep offshore Senegal (SOSP) blocks.
According to a statement reported by the national daily “Le Soleil” published this Tuesday, October 2, the Petroleum Company of Senegal (PETROSEN) announces “the availability of offshore blocks for the granting of licenses, through a procedure of appeal of offers ».
Oil and gas companies may express their interest by mail addressed to the Minister of Petroleum and Renewable Energy no later than October 31, the source said.
It is worth remembering that the head of state, Macky Sall, announced last June that the transfer of blocks will now be by tender. It was during the national consultation on the country’s natural resources.
