The Eiffage group has announced that it has won a contract to design and build a 44 megawatt hydroelectric plant in Ivory Coast, for a total of nearly 110 million euros.
According to a statement issued Tuesday, October 9 by the number 3 French BTP, the project includes the realization of a mixed dam rock and concrete, a spillway, a factory housing the turbines, a canal the station, the line connecting the plant to the network, temporary facilities and access roads.
The works, which will begin in the first quarter of 2019, will be carried out over a three-year period and will mobilize the expertise of Eiffage Génie Civil and Eiffage Énergie Systèmes.
With this new contract signed with the Ivorian Ivory Hydro Energy operator, the French construction and concessions group is continuing to expand.
