The Eranove group was selected for the construction of a 65 MW tri-fuel thermal power plant after a “competitive dialogue” launched in January 2018, according to an announcement made Friday, October 12 by the Togolese authorities.

The Council of Ministers had just adopted the decree authorizing the signature of the concession agreement for the design, financing, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and transfer at the end of the concession of the power plant. by pan-African industrial group Eranove.
According to Financial Afrik, the new energy infrastructure will be fueled mainly by liquefied natural gas supplied by Equatorial Guinea. It will eventually have to increase the country’s own production capacity to 193 MW, according to official estimates.
Ex-Finagestion, the Eranove Group is present in Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mali. It is 56% owned by Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), one of Africa’s leading investment fund managers with more than $ 1.8 billion in assets under management.
