The challenges to meet the Bank’s strategic objectives for 2021 have begun to bear fruit.
Indeed, BNDE has strengthened its positioning in Inclusive Finance, an essential element in the development of our economy, through:
Firstly,
High impact partnerships
Developing an offer of accessible and adapted products
The forthcoming implementation of its “Agency Banking” model to facilitate local customer service, particularly in less accessible and long-term areas throughout Senegal.
The Bank’s commitment in Islamic Finance that will take into account the needs of its target in rural areas through an innovative and evolving financing method.
On the other hand, the strengthening of its agricultural financing strategy with its innovative value chain model for inclusive support for SMEs – SMIs. This approach takes into account several successive “fork to fork” phases in order to maximize the agricultural product while promoting job creation.
At the same time, the Bank plans to enrich its product offering with the introduction in January 2019 of two structuring products for companies:
Leasing to better support businesses with equipment needs
Factoring to provide companies with the assurance of fast and secure payment of their customer invoices and flexibility in managing their cash flow.
These ambitious projects being finalized have as main objective to support considerably the economic development of the country thanks to all the stakeholders notably the Women and Men of the BNDE which illustrate well the Senegalese expertise and through a strong spirit of “BOLLO” “. As the CEO of BNDE often says, “The real success of BNDE lies not just in today’s successes, but rather in its ongoing ability to anticipate and innovate for the future of Senegal, by mobilization and patriotism of all stakeholders “.
The general slogan of this meeting, “Mbollo moy dollé” (unity is strength) reflects the group spirit of this bank which places its anchor in the accompaniment of the real economy and, in particular, the SME financing.
