The shareholders of the new unified stock exchange company of the CEMAC zone, Stock Exchange of Central African Securities (BVMAC) met this Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Douala, Cameroon, headquarters of the new company with the effect of putting in place a new governance. It was at the end of the Board of Directors of the new stock exchange that Henri Claude OYIMA, who is also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the BGFIBank Group, was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The six-year term of Henri Claude OYIMA marks the official start of the activities of the regional financial market. “I thank the administrators of BVMAC for the trust they place in me in the management of the unified CEMAC financial market. I will, of course, focus on making a contribution to the dynamism of the regional financial market, promoting stock market culture and encouraging the largest number of companies to support it, “declared the new President of BVMAC.
As a reminder, since June 2007, Henri Claude OYIMA has been carrying out the project of creating the BVMAC Gabon version with the administrators of Gabon, Congo and Chad.
