After the success of the physical proximity with its customers, the Comorian Development Bank (BDC) aligns itself with the digital innovation by also developing a digital proximity: It launches #HOLO, a solution of Mobile Banking which comes to facilitate the daily life of the Comorians. According to Gervais ATTA, Chief Executive Officer of BDC, “The Bank is contributing to the development of financial inclusion in the Comoros and is part of a strategic approach to further improve proximity relations with its customers.”
HOLO is a mobile banking solution designed and offered by BDC, with the support of TagPay, its technology partner. Developed throughout Africa, Mobile Banking is an innovation in the Comoros. HOLO differs from the solutions available on the market: It offers all its customers and users a full range of banking services accessible from any type of mobile phone, regardless of the telecom operator, with or without internet.

The solution works 24/7, in partnership with all private and public entities, it allows among others:

Etc.
Access to HOLO services
HOLO is an electronic bank account attached to a mobile phone number. HOLO services are accessible via a Mobile Application (Android and iOs) or using a simple first generation mobile phone. Salim ALI SALIM, head of the Holo project, said that “the security of transactions is ensured by the NSDT technology developed by TagPay, an international player in digital banking, known for its successful experiences in several countries of the continent (including Senegal, Burkina Faso , DR Congo, etc.) and in Latin America. ”
To create a HOLO account, simply contact an agent, representative of the BDC, with a terminal that can manage the registration to the service. Once the customer has created his profile and account, he will have easy access to all products and services offered.
“Through this innovation, BDC intends to simplify the lives of its customers and Comorian consumers as a whole. Now, they will no longer need to have cash or move to make a purchase or payments “, Concludes Gervais Atta
“The mobile application and the HOLO services will be available and officially launched on September 27, 2019,” says Ms. Ralluyati MADOUHOULI, BDC communications manager. Several relay points will be deployed at launch across the country to allow all Comorians to enjoy and easily access the various services.
