The Board of Directors of AFG Holding SA, which met on Tuesday, June 01, 2021, appointed Mr. SIONLE YEO as Chief Executive Officer of AFG Holding SA and Mr. Antoine GANGA as Secretary General. Mr. Sionlé YEO, previously Regional Director of Société Générale for Central and East Africa, has held senior positions including those of Managing Director Société Générale Ghana, Managing Director of Société Générale Burkina Faso, Deputy Managing Director and Managing Director Financial and IT of Societe Generale Côte d’Ivoire. He has more than thirty (30) years of experience in the banking sector in sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean. A graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Marseille and the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, Mr. Sionlé YEO is also a graduate of the Institut Technique de Banque de Paris (ITB).
For his part, Mr. Antoine GANGA, previously Director General of the Bank for Industry and Commerce of the Comoros (BIC – Comores), formerly a subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group in 2020, held among other positions that of Director of the strategy and that of Development Manager within the BNP Paribas IRB Participations group for Africa. Holder of a Masters degree and a DESS in Economics from the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne, Mr. Antoine GANGA has more than twenty (20) years of experience in the banking sector in Africa. Following these appointments, all the directors joined the Chairman of the Board of Directors, to wish Mr. Sionlé YEO and Mr. Antoine GANGA every success in their new functions and missions.
