Bolloré Transports & Logistics Côte d’Ivoire, a subsidiary of the French multinational of the same name, will pay its shareholders on August 11, 2021, for fiscal year 2020 as in 2019, an overall net dividend of FCFA 5.443 billion ( 8.165 million euros), announced the leaders of this Abidjan-based company.
Compared to the 54,435,300 shares that make up the company’s share capital, the net dividend per share amounts to 100 FCFA as in 2019. The dividend that will be paid represents 50% of the par value of the share which is 200 FCFA.
Bolloré Transports & Logistics Côte d’Ivoire achieved an after-tax profit of CFAF 13.454 billion at the end of fiscal year 2020, up 43.40% from the previous fiscal year.
The company’s turnover, on the other hand, contracted by 3.942 billion, from 88.182 billion FCFA in 2019 to 84.240 billion FCFA a year later.
In terms of added value, a decrease of CFAF 976 million was noted to CFAF 37.668 billion against CFAF 38.644 billion in 2019.
The 2020 financial year was marked by a reduction of CFAF 597 million in the company’s personnel costs with an achievement of CFAF 28.001 billion against CFAF 28.598 billion as of December 31, 2019.
For its part, the gross operating surplus was down 3.78% to 9.666 billion FCFA against 10.046 billion FCFA a year earlier.
On the other hand, operating income had posted 4.569 billion FCFA against 4.093 billion FCFA in 2019, an increase of 11.62%.
