In addition to Cellou Dalein Diallo, Minister of Transport and Public Works at the time of the events, Cheick Amadou Camara, former Minister of Economy and Finance, Ibrahima Camara, director of the privatization unit of the Ministry of Economy and Finances and Mamadou Sylla, an economic operator, are also concerned. They “committed serious breaches of the criminal law”, according to prosecutor Aly Touré.
Suspicions relate, he specifies, to the sale of a Boeing 737, a Dash 7 turboprop aircraft and spare parts, the lease of the building housing the headquarters of Air Guinea and its facilities. based at Conakry International Airport. No amount has been mentioned so far.

“After analyzing the audit report, the prosecution requested the opening of an investigation for the facts of embezzlement in the award of public contracts, corruption, illicit enrichment, embezzlement of public funds, concealment of property and complicity”, indicates the prosecutor.
“What happened in Air Guinée, the price was not fully paid. There was an advance payment, there remains the balance, ”says Me Alfred Mathos, a member of the audit commission.
