The fifth edition of the Financial Afrik Awards will take place on December 15, 2022 in Lomé, capital of Togo, under the theme: “Green Finance and Alternative Finance”.
The conference will take place in hybrid mode with 300 people in person and 300 online. This fifth edition of the Financial Afrik Awards (#5FAA) will deal with innovations in the world of finance. In particular green finance, which is a concrete response to the challenges of the fight against global warming.
Green bonds and other ESG Bonds are part of a set of financial products that the African continent must integrate in its march towards energy transition, social inclusion and sustainable and shared growth.
In Lomé, experts from Africa and other regions will discuss the potential of green finance and alternative finance in financing innovative projects and the “decarbonization” of economies.
Financial Afrik Awards is an annual event organized by the Financial Afrik newspaper. Like the editions held in Abidjan (2018 and 2019), Dakar (2020), and Nouakchott (2021), that of Lomé will close with a gala dinner during which the list of “100 personalities who are transforming Africa” and the winners of the Financial Afrik Awards.
