Bolloré Transport & Logistics, the operator of the leading integrated logistics network in Africa, will take part in the Africa CEO Forum 2022 on 13 and 14 June. The summit will bring together more than 1,500 business leaders, investors and policy makers from Africa and around the world to discuss the theme “Economic sovereignty, green growth and industrial transformation: new paths to African prosperity”.
Bolloré Transport & Logistics will take this opportunity to present its development projects in Africa, together with its commitment strategy based on the implementation of sustainable logistics solutions.
During this Pan-African event organised around conferences, debates and meetings, Éric Melet, CEO of Bolloré Railways, will present the company’s strategy on decarbonising transport. He will highlight the leading role played by Bolloré Transport & Logistics in reducing the impact of its activities on the environment.
Bolloré Transport & Logistics ensures that Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria are integrated into its investment strategy and deploys specific programmes to reduce its consumption of fossil fuels. In June 2021, Bolloré ports launched Green Terminal, a new labelling process validated by Bureau Veritas, which aims to reduce the carbon footprint of its activities by using a precise methodology that covers all environmental issues.
