IsDB as a founding partner of the SAP-Z Alliance, committed US$300 million to fuel Africa’s agro-industrial growth.
The Alliance for Special Agro Processing Zone (ASAP-Z), proposed by African Development Bank Group, is set to transform African agriculture, bridging rural and urban development through Agriculture Transformation Centers (ATCs) and support smallholder farmers.
The members of The Alliance for Special Agro Processing Zone (ASAP-Z) are the African Development Bank Group, Afreximbank, Arise Integrated Industrial Platforms, the Islamic Development Bank Group and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
Launched on November 8th at the 2023 Africa Investment Forum Market Days, this new private sector-focused Alliance aim to bridge the critical financing gap in agriculture.
