On 6 March 2025, Africa Global Logistics Congo was awarded the best carrier compliance inspection (ICT) performance prize at the 2024 HSE and performance awards ceremony organised by TotalEnergies EP Congo. This is the second award presented to AGL Congo by a major oil company in the country. In 2023, the company was awarded the prize for best logistics operations contractor by ENI Congo.
This award follows the carrier compliance audit that Total Energy EP Congo had completed in July 2024. The audit focused on the quality of the rolling stock made available for operations, the behaviour of drivers at the wheel, and the safety measures applied within the company.
‘AGL Congo is the only company to have been judged compliant in the carrier compliance inspection category. This is a notable achievement, especially as it was the first assessment,’ said Karel Destin IBATA-LA-TSAMBI, Head of the Organisational, Human Factors and HSE Communication Department at TotalEnergies EP Congo.
‘The acknowledgement of the quality of our work by the country’s oil majors is encouraging. I invite all our teams to stay the course and continue to guarantee the control of transport-related risks. Well done to the HSE, logistics and workshop teams for this fine performance,’ says Christophe PUJALTE, AGL Regional Director for Congo/DRC/Angola.
Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Congo has been building on its expertise in the oil industry for over 20 years.
