Afrobytes is partnering with Congo Business Network to organize the first-ever “Pitch My Country Congo” session to be held on May 15, 2019 in Paris at Station F, the world’s largest startup campus.
The “Pitch My Country” sessions aim to literally “pitch” a country’s entrepreneurial potential to investors, large companies and major international media. During the 4th edition of Afrobytes, Congo Business Network will lead a delegation composed of the most promising tech start-ups from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The startups selected for the 2019 edition are:
- MaxiCash, maxicashapp.com (FinTech)
- MEDpay, medpay.io (HealthTech)
- Tinda, tinda.cd (Logistics)
- MOKO, themokoapp.com (Music)
- Eteyelo, eteyelo.cd (EdTech)
This “Tech Dream Team” will showcase Congo’s innovation ecosystem during the 4th edition of Afrobytes. It will demonstrate the tremendous potential of the Congolese market in terms of digital technology to investors from all over the world. Afrobytes Marketplace thus gives a voice to visionary leaders whose successes concretely illustrate the process of digital transformation in Congo. Congolese entrepreneurs will share their vision and ambition to fully use technology to shape the new Congolese economy.
The organizers’ mission is to enable these startups to gain more visibility in the international media, raise funds from investors and find their future technical or commercial partners to accelerate their growth.
Congo Business Network calls for massive support for these entrepreneurs of the new Congolese economy on May 15 in Paris. Congo is one of six African countries that will participate in the “Pitch My Country” sessions alongside Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa, Morocco and Ethiopia.
