The Chinese Poly Changda withdraws the contract to build the Rosso bridge and its access viaducts for 47 million euros.

Poly Changda won over Nouakchott and Dakar all the more as his bid was by far the best compared to those of 16 other contenders.
The Chinese have 30 months to complete their contract and must start construction work on December 20, 2020.
The objective of the Rosso bridge project is to improve the level of service on the Nouakchott – Dakar axis in order to increase trade on the trans-African road axes.
With a total amount of USD 96 million, it is financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Union and also includes components relating to the realization to the realization socio-economic infrastructure in both Senegal and Mauritania.
