LafargeHolcim Côte d’Ivoire in partnership with the National Council of the Order of Architects of Côte d’Ivoire (CNOA) and the School of Architecture of Abidjan (EAA), launched this Tuesday, June 22 the third edition of its internship grant program for the promotion of sustainable construction in Côte d’Ivoire.
Committed to the development of sustainable solutions to improve the construction of buildings and infrastructure and contribute to a better quality of life, LafargeHolcim Côte d’Ivoire has initiated an internship grant program since 2017, the winners of which are selected by competition. This third edition marks a major innovation through the inclusion of the Urbanism sector.
The aim of the competition is for students and young professionals in the Architecture and Urban Planning sectors to propose a personal project on the theme of sustainable construction. Four internship grants are at stake for young architects and town planners, and four other internship grants for students who have completed their bachelor’s degree, for a total value of 7,500,000 FCFA.
“We are very happy to launch this new edition of the LafargeHolcim Grant Program for sustainable construction. This activity is particularly close to our hearts because it reconciles two important themes for our company: Contributing to the employability of young people, and promoting healthy constructions, beneficial to people and the environment ”, rejoiced Philomène TSOH, Director of Communication and Sustainable Development of this company.
Applicants will be able to submit their projects until October 29 under terms available on the EAA and LafargeHolcim websites. We can bet that emotions will still be present at this meeting of creativity and innovation.
