Côte d’Ivoire is working to give itself the means to succeed in the digital transformation of all its services. And it is to Digital Business Invest (DBI) that the Ministry in charge of the Promotion of SMEs, Handicrafts and the Transformation of the Informal Sector has decided to entrust the digitization of its sector of activity.
Digital Business Invest (DBI) is a company based in Tallinn, Estonia. She specializes in the design of tailor-made digital economy models, alternative financing and management of innovative projects, driving the digital transformation of the public and private sectors. It is to this company that the Ivorian Ministry in charge of the Promotion of SMEs, Handicrafts and the Transformation of the Informal Sector has decided to entrust the digitization of its sector of activity.
The collaboration between these two entities was formalized by the signing of an agreement between the State of Côte d’Ivoire and DBI. Under the terms of this agreement signed by the Ivorian Minister Félix Anoble and Armand Obou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DBI, the company will be responsible for financing innovation, training entrepreneurs in digital uses and conducting of the digital transformation of the informal sector. The agreement also authorizes the opening of DBI’s Africa headquarters in Côte d’Ivoire.
The second part of this gentlemen’s agreement concerns the seaside town of San-Pedro (South-West), of which Minister Félix Anoblé is also the mayor. DBI will be responsible for leading the “e-San-Pedro” project for the creation and deployment of the single portal for digital services in this municipality.
