Montreal: 2nd Edition of Canada-Africa Encounters
The Conseil Patronal de l’Environnement du Québec (CPEQ), the Conseil du Patronat du Québec (CPQ), HEC Montréal, and DOING GOOD IN AFRICA (DGIA) are organizing the second edition of the Canada-Africa encounters on June 17, 2024, at HEC Montréal and online. The theme of the event is “Sustainable Supply Chains, Business Opportunities, and Networking.”
The main deliverables of this significant event include:
👉 DGIA Canada-Africa Sustainability Barometer: A reference tool presenting the dynamics of ethics, impact investments, good governance, CSR, and sustainability of Canadian companies, as well as their subsidiaries and supply chains in Africa.

Three debates are scheduled on the following topics:
👉🏼 Doing Business in Africa: Opportunities, success factors, importance of sustainability, and the benefits of impact investment.
👉🏽 Deployment of CSR and sustainability in the subsidiaries and supply chains of Canadian companies in Africa: Experiences, best practices, and constraints.
👉 African Diaspora in Canada, a key player in promoting sustainability in supply chains in Africa: Exemplary initiatives, needs, and opportunities.
