10 Years of Impact: Choiseul Africa Celebrates a Decade of Driving Development Across the Continent
By 2050, more than half of Africa’s population will be under 25 years old, and the continent will have over two billion inhabitants. Africa is already at the heart of tomorrow’s global recovery. Since 2014, Choiseul Africa has positioned itself as a key player, facilitating dialogue between economic and political decision-makers to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of African leaders.
Over this decade, Choiseul Africa has built an influential network of over 800 leaders, focusing on cooperation between the private sector and public institutions. The Choiseul 100 Africa Ranking, which annually highlights 200 of the continent’s most promising young talents, is a flagship initiative, celebrating change-makers across Africa.
However, investment opportunities still face the challenge of financing gaps, exacerbated by global geopolitical and economic crises. In this context, Choiseul Africa, through its events and initiatives, plays a crucial role in strengthening the infrastructure and sovereignty of African states.
Key Moments of This Anniversary Year:
To mark this decade, several events will be organized, reflecting the growing impact of Choiseul Africa on development policies across the continent:
- October 17, 2024: Publication of the 10th edition of the Choiseul 100 Africa Ranking, which will highlight the 200 most promising young African leaders of their generation.
- October 31 – November 1, 2024: 5th edition of the Choiseul Africa Business Forum, in Marrakech, where more than 800 influential decision-makers will gather to co-create sustainable and winning strategies for the future of Africa. A celebratory dinner will also take place to honor a decade of actions and partnerships.
