The Gambia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (GIEPA) is the national agency established by an Act of Parliament in July 2010 to promote and facilitate private sector investment in The Gambia.
KEY FUNCTIONS
By offering facilitation services to investors, the Agency acts as the first point of contact for investors, provides information on the relevant procedures for setting up a business and helps form the network of contacts needed in The Gambia for successful business operations.
GIEPA advises and collaborates with the Gambian government, the private sector and civil society to develop a globally competitive business environment. Key functions focus on promoting the export of Gambian products, developing and regulating Gambia’s business park, formulating investment promotion, export and enterprise development strategies and policies geared towards the continuous improvement of Gambia’s investment climate for private sector-led growth.
