Notre Afrik is a pan-African magazine published by the Samori Media Connection group in Brussels since July 2010. This monthly magazine, founded by Cameroonian journalist Thierry Hot, aims to “make Africa’s voice heard in the concert of nations and convey the message of an Africa rich in its people and prosperous in its resources.” The magazine’s goal is to objectively present the facts, developments, and weaknesses of the African continent. This quarterly publication, spanning eighty-four pages, covers various topics such as politics, culture, sports, health, and the economy. In its first editorial in July 2010, Notre Afrik expressed its ambition to become a reference magazine for the continent and a staunch defender of Africa on the international stage. The first edition featured a special report on the 50th anniversary of Cameroon’s independence and included an interview with Guillaume Soro, then Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire, discussing the preparations for the elections in that country.
