This committee plays a crucial role in organizing and managing the various initiatives and partnerships surrounding this globally significant project.
Missions of the Simandou Strategic Committee:
- Coordination of stakeholders: The committee works closely with the various actors involved in the project, including the Guinean state, industrial partners such as Winning Consortium Simandou, Baowu Steel Group, and Rio Tinto. The goal is to ensure effective synergy between these entities for the co-development of the Simandou railway and port infrastructure.

- Event organization: Organizing forums, conferences, and meetings to celebrate key milestones of the project and to enable stakeholders to exchange ideas, expectations, and economic perspectives. The event celebrating the second anniversary of the Compagnie du TransGuinéen is a prime example.
