Casablanca: The Africa Financial Summit (AFIS) 2024
On December 9th and 10th, 2024, in Casablanca, AFIS will bring together the most influential leaders and regulators in African finance.
Africa’s development hinges on establishing an efficient, inclusive, and sustainable financial sector. To this end, AFIS fosters dialogue among governments, regulators, major banks, insurance companies, mobile operators, and fintech firms in a continent where growth potential is hindered by misdirected funding.
AFIS aims to build a robust financial industry serving the real economy and sustainable development.
It supports the transformation of Africa’s financial sector, gathering influential leaders, regulators, and institutions in African finance. It strives to enhance financial inclusion and promote the emergence of a true pan-African financial services industry, amplifying the voices of key players in African finance.
AFIS is actively committed to contributing to the success of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which is expected to accelerate integration and growth in Africa’s financial sector.
Founded by Jeune Afrique Media Group in 2021, with the support of the IFC (World Bank Group), AFIS is a sister organization of the Africa CEO Forum, the premier platform for the African private sector.
