The Afreximbank Compliance Forum (ACF2024) will be held at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar, Senegal, from September 4 to 6, 2024, in partnership with the Intergovernmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA).
This event will bring together compliance specialists, representatives of national and regional organizations, and leaders from the trade sector. The central theme for the three days of discussions will be: “Better Compliance – Better Trade: The Implications of the New FATF Requirements on Beneficial Ownership and Their Impact on Trade.”
The discussions will focus on the implications of the Beneficial Ownership concept, designed to improve the prevention of money laundering and illicit activities, and to help countries assess and mitigate associated risks. Practical recommendations on implementation will be shared.
ACF2024 will also feature an exhibition showcasing the latest compliance systems developed by leading technology providers. Additionally, Afreximbank will present its range of relevant trade solutions.
