Dakar: E-Business International Summit (EBIS)
June 27–28, 2025 | Dakar, Senegal
Africa’s e-commerce market is experiencing explosive growth, with an annual increase of nearly 40%. In this dynamic digital transformation context, Dakar will host the very first edition of the E-Business International Summit (EBIS) on June 27 and 28, 2025—a strategic gathering focused entirely on the future of digital commerce in Africa.
Designed as a hub for exchange and practical solutions, EBIS Dakar 2025 will spotlight African innovations in e-commerce, digital entrepreneurship, and online marketing. The objective is clear: to tackle key industry challenges and equip digital actors with the tools they need to scale their projects.
This inaugural edition will revolve around three key pillars:
- Developing solutions tailored to Africa’s e-commerce realities
- Supporting digital entrepreneurship through financing and training programs
- Optimizing digital marketing strategies by leveraging new technologies
Conferences, hands-on workshops, expert insights, and case studies will fill the two-day agenda with valuable opportunities. Renowned speakers from across Africa and around the world will share their expertise on the challenges and opportunities of e-commerce, innovation, and digital entrepreneurship. Framed within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)—which opens access to a market of over 1.4 billion people—EBIS aims to explore concrete strategies to elevate Africa’s digital future.
EBIS will also serve as a showcase platform for brands and startups seeking greater visibility and targeted engagement. Participants will have the chance to connect with professionals, forge partnerships, and receive tailored guidance from industry leaders.
As a traveling summit, EBIS plans to settle in a different African city each year. For this inaugural edition, Dakar, a recognized capital of digital innovation in West Africa, will lay the foundation for large-scale transformation.
“EBIS Dakar 2025 is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to help write a new chapter in Africa’s digital story,”
says Gaël Angoula, EBIS Communications Director.
