Dakar: The 15th edition of the Africa Infrastructure Forum (AIF)
The 15th edition of the Africa Infrastructure Forum (AIF), organized by One Africa Forums in partnership with the Ministry of Infrastructure, Land, and Air Transport of Senegal, will take place from November 26 to 28, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dakar Sea Plaza. With over 400 participants from 30 countries, this edition is set to be a strategic platform for collaboration and dialogue around the theme: “Transport Infrastructure in Africa: Breaking Barriers, Building the Future!“
A Key Event for Infrastructure Development in Africa
The Africa Infrastructure Forum 2024 will bring together leading players in the transport infrastructure sector, including government representatives, multilateral institutions, private investors, engineering and financing specialists, as well as policymakers. The event will tackle strategic topics such as the persistent issue of financing, the need for economic and regional integration, urban mobility challenges, the development of rural areas, regional corridor development, and sovereignty issues related to national preferences and strengthening the local industrial fabric.
The central objective of the event is to drive a structural transformation of transport infrastructure across Africa. Discussions will highlight innovative solutions aimed at addressing the continent’s growing connectivity needs and enhancing its resilience in the face of economic and climate challenges.

Chosen as the host country, Senegal today stands as a model of excellence in West Africa when it comes to transport infrastructure. The country has made significant investments in the development of its land, maritime, and air networks. These advancements position Senegal as a strategic hub for regional logistics, thereby boosting the economic integration of West Africa.
